Just wondered if any of you watched Question Time tonight? If so, in a nutshell, what did you think of the individual responses from Charles Kennedy, Michael Howard & Tony Blair?

Nope, I missed it...........but having caught a news clip this morning and seen how uncomfortable Blair & Howard looked at some of the questions they were being asked, I'm now wishing I had seen it!!

Didn't watch any of it, but in a nutshell, I can tell you the type of things that were said  -  Kennedy promised all sorts, safe in the knowledge that he will not be elected, Blair lied about everything and Howard lied about nearly everything!!

People know that they are liars, yet the vast majority of them still vote for one of them - how silly is that?!!

I missed most of it and only saw Blair. I felt sorry for him really. Looked like a lost kid at the end of it. Classic last question by Sir Dimbleby. I was hoping to see all 3 head to head though.
saw it complete farce they appeared seperately and managed to turn a potentially interesting debate into a political bore. no wonder no one is interested in politics

I might not have agreed with her about a lot of things but I'll say this about Mrs. Thatcher, she could debate with the best of them and infrequently came out second best.

I think we are struggling if it's a choice of Blair, Howard and Kennedy et. al.

I was totally amazed by how frightened and sweaty Blair looked! Howard came across as sneaky and intolerant. Kennedy was confident, articulate and, I think, the strongest person there. Here here for Charlie!

Both my husband & I thought exactly the same Hugo!

I'm a Californian.  I saw Question Time last night, Sunday.

I wanted to tell you Brits how very lucky you are.  I found the show riveting, shocking, surprising, and even, at times, hilarious.

Why do I think you're so lucky?  I saw great questions, a moderator who never let the politicans evade their questions, a non-deferential audience, and wonderful followups both by the questioners themselves and fellow audience members.  You almost never see such qualities  in American politics.

It was even better then Question Time from the parliament.
