Grimy neck collar stain - help needed!

Hi, has anyone got any remedies for getting rid of a really persistent horrible 'grime' line from the white collar of a favourite sweat shirt - it looks horrible an not sure what to put on it (home remedy or shop bought). Thanks.

A good soak in the sink in a solution of vanish white and warm (not hot) water. Then give it a rub, and wash it as normal but with a scoop of vanish in it as well as your usual product.

I swear by Vanish as well, but if something white gets too discoloured, then short of throwing it away, you could try adding Vanish to a pre-wash as well.

you need a big bar of that green soap from the pound shop lol

Put some Fairy Liquid on it....yes-the one for dishes!...I use it+Vanish.....gets all sorts out.

If Vanish doesn't work (which it should!) try that stuff that's supposed to keep your nets white - can't remember the name of it but you can buy it in supermarkets.

sunlight fairy and soda crystals should do the trick

if that doesn't do it!!!

LOL Zig.Zag! I would buy a new shirt if it were mine, but it's a 'precious' rugby shirt of hubby's - throwing it out doesn't come into the solution, lol! Heaven forbid!
