Hi whiskeryron. I'm sure many more on here also mean about releasing him into civilised society, just that their wording is different to mine. :-)
I would also like to apologise to obnoxious for my remark about prostitutes against students. It was very wrong of me to categorise these two types of women as a separate species. Of course all life is sacred.
What I actually meant was, at first it was thought, from the first few murders (and you had to be there at the time to appreciate the horror) were in fact women of the night. It seems though that prostitutes were becoming very wary of what was happening in the area and were in fact going about in pairs. But this didn't deter the ripper from his killing as he then was just looking for any woman walking out alone. I can still remember the shock on hearing that his first non prostitute was a young girl from Leeds and was in fact a student.

To Wendilla.. I was merely stating the facts that whether you want to keep him locked up for ever, he will have the right to be released as his sentence will have been completed. What should have happened is that is should have been sentenced to LIFE which could then mean LIFE. He was only sentenced to 30 years and so LEGALLY will have the right to be released whether society wants him to be or not. I was NOT saying that I wanted him to be relased, just that he would have the right to be. The way our legal system works is that you are sentenced and then released once you have completed that sentence, regardless of whether you have been rehabilitated.
