My daughter has milk tokens for her 15 month old daughter, but she no longer likes to drink plain milk, we have tried nesquik milk which again she dislikes, but she does like the ready made milkshakes like the yogurt one and the thick variety, does anyone know if she can use her milk tokens for these seeing as its still milk. Thanks

I dont think so but check the back of the letter the tokens come on....
I would think not. when I last saw a milk token they had very strict instructions on the back.
those thick milkshakes arent probably that healthy, whereas the idea for the milk token is to ensure the child gets healthy milk.

why not get the correct milk and then make smoothies with bananas or something. That will thicken it up too

Its not healthy im lookng for, the hospital have said everything we give her has to be full of fat, all food has to be fried and the milkshakes are full of fat.
i guess whar redcrx is saying though is that so is plain milk full of fat, whereas the milkshakes are probably full of sugar too, meaning her teeth will probably be affected. Your daughter could just go into a shop and try it
No, they can only be used for milk.
If its the Healthy Start Vouchers, I'm very surpised you were allowed to purchase Nesquik milk with them as according to this site you're not entitled to them.

As for your yoghurts- again I'd say no.

Boo ive not used the tokens to buy the nesquik i said we have tried her on the nesquik, thats why im asking if anyone thinks we will be able use the tokens for the milkshakes.
I doubt you would be able to use them for milkshakes, as already has been pointed out.

Most of the milkshakes sold as ready made milkshakes are long life milk and what with all the colourings and preservatives, you won't be giving your granddaughter any nutrition atall.

I think redcrx has the best idea with making full fat milk smoothies. Can't you buy the bottled milkshake and pour a smoothie in so that she thinks she is getting the milkshake from the shop?
