What was the Robot called in the 60s tv series, 'Lost In Space'. I know it was 'Robbie' in 'Forbidden Planet'

It was just known as the Robot, and was made by the same person who created Robbie,Robert Kinoshita.

Just looked at IMDB.com and it says something about "Rambler-Crane series Robot" as I have not seen this film it may make sense to you, have a look at this link http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120738/fullcredits

Apparently the series creator Irwin Allen wanted to call the robot Rodney.
