So, would Alstromeria work any better? Named by Swedish botanist Baron Klas von Alstroemer in 1753. More commonly called Peruvian Lily...

I was looking at this for you last night Obo as i knew Rudbeckia was wrong as they are yellow n orange shades. You must think Alstromeria is right but although I came up with that answer because of the Swedish connection I dismissed that too - mainly because I buy them regularly from tescos and they are never blue or violet but pinks mauves yellow green and white mixed up, They don't have 5 lobes either.

Thanks for that Prudie, I was swept along with euphoria that i failed to notice the six petals. You can get the hybrids in almost any colour. Once again back to the drawing board.
