Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

There is a glitch in this puzzle online, confirmed by the quickest time being over 11 minutes!

When I pressed to submit, I was told I had two wrong answers - for 14 down and 17 across. It took me a while before I conceded defeat and asked for a hint on the crossing letter. You can imagine my surprise when it was given as a blank!!

Sedge - I have to agree, todays was about as challenging as Saturdays. Thankfully Sunday's was more interesting. Although one of the clues was pretty bad.

Maybe I was too early - about 1 o'clock this morning!!

By the way, it was the quick not the cryptic I do the quick crossword as Mrs BD likes to do it, and if I just print it it stays as a saved game - it also makes me look really clever when I know all the answers.

Ahh apologies Dave - I didn't read the post properly and missed the reference to Quick. And yes, like you I print the Quick off as Mrs PB likes to do this one with me at lunchtime.
I will make a note of what you say, for when I come to enter it online later.

pbeach, I've been trying to decide which of yesterday's clues you didn't like. My guess is that it was 9d. (?)
