I just made risotto and it is absolutly rank. I am having toast now instead. Anyone else disapointed with their dinner?

Not happy as made spag bol whilst balancing on my crutches, rang my hubby at 5 pm to see what time he would be home for dinner and he said he didn't want any, he was already in pub! MEN!!

That is exactly the reason my cooking is very few and far between, I get upset and disappointed when it doesn't turn out right (which is most times because I don't cook enough to get the practise...vicious circle!) Tonight I will be going to Subway to get footlong sandwiches for me and my boyfriend (if it is open) If not it will be frozen pizza (cooked before eating!) and salad!

singapore, we had homemade chilli con carne too, and it was delicious - MrNat said it was the best he ever had, and even baby Nat (10 months) had a try despite it having 6 birdseye chillis in it, I think she would have liked some properly to eat if I had let but I thought it might hurt her tum :-/
