LBC have just spent the last 1/2 hr trying to decide if the presenter should say "golliwog" or "g-word".

I think we need a rewrite of history, science, and language, to bring it in line with modern multi-cultural thinking. I find Stephen Hawking's black holes highly offensive.

You can't go wrong with a teddy unless a teddy-girl nicks it but teddy-girls are a bit doddery, deaf & slow and you can hear them clattering along in their walking frames but watch out for their sticks.

A report on LBC - demands are growing for the Queen to issue a full public apology, preferably on prime-time TV, for her Sandringham shop having sold golliwogs. I've got huge stocks of battery Kermits here, would they do instead?

I listened to the LBC phone-in for quite a long time in bed. The presenter, himself half-white-half-black seemed eminently sensible, but then an elderly white lady phoned in to tell how her black husband of over 50 years had once told her about black folk calling each other n-----s. She spoke the word, and the presenter was on her in an instant, not in a nasty way, and she was cut off. He then explained that it was ok to say n-word but not n----r. It is a bit daft, everybody is walking around now saying n-word, p-word, i-word, j-word, when everybody knows full the underlying actuality. Incidentally, the expression "white trash" was free to air on the programme. Next stop, thought control.
