My little one has had an awful day, so I thought i'd share it with you lot.

The day started off rather well for her, she had a toy sword bought for her (see post below). However that caused me to scream and shout (again, see post below).

Anyway today was supposed to be Wednesday Club day, her first one. This is where the little one's going to school this September pop into school and spend an hour getting to know the class and teacher etc. She was sooooo excited, and completely buzzing to be going as she was "a big girl now". Anyhoo...we gets there, it's been cancelled due to snow. She was devastated and burst into tears right there in the classroom.

To try and cheer her up, I said we'd go park, so off we trot. The park is closed and all the kiddy stuff taken out as they're doing it up- she burst into tears again.

In a desperate attempt to cheer her up, I took her to the shops and bought her a little toy and a iced bun. We came home- the toy's broke and the dog nicked her bun.....

Sometimes it's hard being 4 years old.

Poor little boo-ling. Have a sword fight with her to cheer her up. My son had guns and swords and goodness knows what, but wouldn't hurt a fly!!!
awww poor little B00.

I'll send 3yr old little CRX over to play. Hes had a bad day too and has managed to get crayon all over the wall and all over daddys big TV. Hes got a face like thunder now because he had to sit on the naughty step
Awww, B00, the poor lil maggot. I haven't seen the other post, but I will go and have a gander.

I just ate the last doughnut in the office, but I would have sent it up if I'd have l known :-)
Has she threatened to leave home yet B00?
My youngest did when he was about 3...he packed his co-op carrier & yelled 'I'm really going ya know'

He'd got his slippers & his womble....bless :o)
Robinia, I did that too - I packed my book (in case I got bored), a banana (in case I got hungry) and my toy dog (in case I got lonely) in a Tesco carrier and threatened to leave.

My mum said she did the same at the age, but she left home with her typewriter (?), then two houses down decided it was too heavy to carry and so went home again.
Question Author
Haha, no Robinia. Hell I can't even get rid of the 20 year old, she keeps moving out and moving back in again (currently back again) so I don't rate my chances!
well my two both left at the age of 21...I'm wondering whether in a few years time there'll be a knock at the door & it'll be 'Hi grandma! I've left home, I've come to live with you'

:o)
I'd be hacked off if some mutt stome me iced bun too.. I'd stab it with my new plastic sword!
Question Author
Oh way to go to cheer me up Robinia- you mean there isn't a light at the end of the tunnel??

Heh CD (how's you by the way?) she's currently colouring with felt tips, which is going right through me- that 'orrible scratch, scratch sound. Haven't the heart to tell her to stop though.
