Is he Liverpool's greatest ever fan? First post after Liverpool beat Chelsea was at 17:53. Did you have your laptop with you at Anfield, Bob? Are you delighted with the fact that your beloved Reds might now be good enough to finish second in the Premier League? I have said for ages that Chelsea aren't good enough, so your wind-ups (funny how we hear nothing from you when you lose) aren't going to upset PROPER fans, who were spending close on 5 hours getting home after another miserable performance from Chelsea. It's people like you who remind me why I hope, no PRAY, Man United win the league this season.

Hmm - I think Bob was a little happy wasn't he - not to mention keyboard happy!
I'm a Liverpool supporter lesblue - but I don't crow as much as Bob does - after all it's not over yet, but if I'd known you were at Anfield I'd have given you a wave from The Kop.

Hi spudqueen. We got a lot of "waves" from the Kop (and all other parts of the ground) when the first goal went in. At least, I think they were waves.
I think if only those who attended the matches were counted as fans, no English Club would afford to pay their players. My son went to Old Trafford this weekend I assume to watch United play, he only goes occasionally but he is a big fan, has been since he was small. Bob just uses this site to wind people up lol
Was it at Anfield?

I thought it was at Chelski.

I would probably have had more fun at Stamford Bridge, JJ.

Hi vauny. What has gone wrong at Chelsea? What has gone right at Chelsea? I am of the opinion that Mr Grant did a reasonably good job to a certain extent. The group of players at his disposal last season were well-versed in the "Mourinho way", and therefore not much had to be done in order to keep the team moving in the right direction. I think some of his selections and substitutions were odd (Carling Cup Final, and playing Essien out of position in Moscow, for example), but to get within the width of a post of becoming European Champions and to take the Premier League to the final game is not a bad job.

This season is a completely different picture. I thought we started the season well, and everything looked rosy. But, and its a big but, we have a number of players who, I feel, are way past their best or just not interested in playing for the club. Deco has done very little. Ballack is a huge disappointment. Anelka and Drogba aren't bothered. Carvalho is always injured. And, loathe as I am to say it, ten years of "putting yourself in where it hurts" have taken their toll on JT. Add to that the loss of Essien and now Joe Cole, and its hardly surprising that we are struggling. Furthemore, the side virtually picks itself these days, with Malouda and Kalou hopelessly out of their depth.

I could mention bad luck, too ( a commodity you need when you are playing poorly) like Alonso's deflected winner, Van Persie two yards offside when scoring, Lampards sending-off while Gerrard stays on the pitch. I could mention the fact that comrade Abramovich seems to have fallen out of love with the club. I really, really don't know if Scolari is good enough, because there is so much going on that is out of his control.

So, in answer to your question, vauny. "Whats gone wrong", I would say: "Just about everything". Keep smiling.
