I'm not sure about places to stay, check out hostelworld.com. As for places to go, obviously Shandon cathedral and Blarney. Kinsale is a must and try to eat there if possible. If you have time venture to West Cork where the scenery is amazing. Skibereen, Clonakilty or the Beara peninsula
