computer fckd up !! grrr

cannot watch vids for more than 1-2 mins,,then computer says (programme is not responding) it asks me to end now or cancel,,i end now and computer shuts down...also i tried to restore system but its onl letting me go back to 12th january restore point,i need to restore it way back to nov or december when everything was workin ok...ready for a breakdon ,,,,,help..

If the worst comes to the worst, boot from your installation CD (you may have to change boot priority in the BIOS) & choose the Repair option.
