When you're a northerner born & bred (like me ) the midlands (where I live now) is in the south.
Oh God little Lady, you dont wanna be a Brummie. It's worse!

Yes, I get it as well.

I'm from Staffordshire - not far quite far enough north for me to be a 'proper' northerner but then again there is no way that I'm a southerner!

The line from Bristol to Watford gap everything above  is the north. As a southerner always willing to help are northern friends try this,

haha, that's awesome.

i live in south london, so naturally virtually everyone is a northerner.

South London? Pah! Bloody Northern monkey :-). I live in the REAL South - the South coast of Sussex. The Midlands is anywhere more than 200 yards from the beach and the North starts at Crawley (they even vote Labour there - what more proof do you need?)
