have an old medal with a baseball player on dated 1895 -engaved Globe cup won by Everton club.

Did Everton FC ever have a baseball club - I cannot find anything about this in the Everton football books I have.

A Doctor friend of mine writes books on Everton and other footballing matters he is looking into the effect on the brain and heading the ball he sent me the next bit of text ( It was a big thing on merseyside with huge crowds.In my book is a photo of Everton baseball team during ww 2. Dixie also won a baseball medal and either EFC or David France bought it.Efc and Best wishes John PS Boro FC champions of National Baseball League in 1892. Clubs often shared with football grounds which is why where Derby played called the Baseball Ground.It was a Summer income and kept players fit if played both.-Look on Google LIVERPOOL TROJANS HISTORY re Everton in 1930's.Society of American baseball at 1998 AGM reported a photograph of Everton baseball team played with a flat bat so they played a form known as WELSH baseball- Hope this helps!!!!
