smithies, the o is correct. Good luck with the quest for the 2008 edition! It's unfortunate, to say the least, that both Jensen and Jenson fit the theme and one requires the specific edition of the dictionary to confirm which is intended.
15A More than one spoke of excellent US team (5) ?ad?i I'm sure it is really very easy, but I have come to a grinding halt on this final clue (and also unclear, as above, whether it is JENSEN or JENSON).

RADII - plural of RADIUS (spoke)
JBW123: try a few more parts of speech in the definition part - though if, as I read it, the last two letters in the wordplay are meant to be read as eleven it's rather unconventional. Sorry, my previous posting meant that Jenson was the one to be found in Chambers 2008.
Rapparee, I agree with your solution - but to my mind the wordplay leads to RADXI rather than RADII.
Unless we are required to view II as eleven...
Yes, Rapparee, that was what I meant as unconventional. I for 1 is standard Roman-Arabic, but we don't usually extend that to II for 11.
Thank you, Rapparee.
AHearer, Many thanks for your help. I thought the thread had dried up until dr b put me right. I didn't see 'Next 8>' !
