got a new washing machine on Boxing day and just used it for the first time today but my clothes came out really hot. i washed them on a 30 degree cycle. are they supposed to come out hot?

Well that's blown my theory.

I would go with the pipe being connected to the hot supply then, so you get a hot rinse.

no.knowledge, ha ha that was funny defo made me laugh. ive not even checked the stuff i washed before its still on the maiden - it might have shrunk. maybe i should.......

The exact same thing happened to me and the hot and cold pipes were mixed up (washes in cold water and rinses in boiling hot lol), just need changing round.
