Queens speech should she bother,yes or no?

Trying to get everybodys opinion about the queens speech tomorrow.Does anybody ever listen to it?

Yes - and if ever you think we should have a republic instead of a monarchy, just look at the fools that have held the top post in the USA over the last several years.

The Queens's importance is not so much in what she does, but in what she stops other people from doing.

No one person can be head of all three armed forces, for example.

Yes. This year's effort did nothing to dispel the belief held by some that she is out of touch.She appeared to be telling us that we should all do charitable and noble works and then illustrate this by shots of her own family.Not a good impression!
The Queen is not the most important thing; it's the monarchy that matters. It's the best thing about GB and brings in loads of revenue. And don't go on about her wealth; most of 'her' property actually belongs to the country not her.
And I think Charlie will make a great King; most of the subjects that he has taken an interest in over the years he has gone against the grain but now proven to be right.
