How has it come to down to this?

What is going wrong?

And before anyone says that it is no different to years ago, and we are looking through rose tinted specs at the good old days. I can assure you that school children of yester-year were nowhere near like they are today.

So what is the answer, bring back corporal punishment perhaps? Or has it now gone too far, to such an extent that the problem is now irreversible?

Who do we have to thank for that?

"Teachers were forced to call them in to deal with attacks on staff and pupils - some involving knives or other weapons"

"staff"..........presumably teachers?
Yeah, but both pupils or staff. So it could be teachers, or it could be kids. I'd bet my mortgage that the vast, vast majority was violence between kids. We're still talking 2 incidents per school per year, and it's not 10,000 teachers being stabbed. It's not 10,000 pupils being stabbed either. It's more than likely to be 95% kids fighting with each other
Supernick........OK.
