I have been uploading my pictures and film from my Canon camara to Zoombrowser for the last couple of years, my pictures are ok but I can't seem to play the films anymore. they upload ok and are stored ok but don't want to play. any ideas????

i have a canon digi cam
i was videoing my xmas lights
when the camera went dead
i thought it was the battery
plugged it in to charge
it does not charge
2 yrs old
have u got any ideas what happened
i do not know if the battery is dead or not
as i said it does not charge
