Hurray, someone who thinks like I do! House of Cards has long been my favourite drama series and I find I need to watch the whole trilogy at least every 6 months!
Ian Richardson's performance was masterly, he oozes evil while seeming to be like a sort of benign uncle.
It gets my vote for No1 (probably closely followed by I, Claudius)
