Why is Holly Willoughby on this morning and is Fern coming back?

I think Fern is still recovering from her sore bottom, as a result of her Charity bike ride in Cuba.

Ruth Langsford has been on it for the last few weeks and I've got quite used to her, but I don't think Holly Willoughby is a suitable choice, she's far too young as a sidekick for Phil.

Fern isn't coming back until after Christmas, she has said she wants to spend more time with her family. Fern and hubby are coining it in by appearing on a number of adverts that have hacked off the This Morning Team, she is probably getting her own back as they wouldn't give her a pay rise for the coming year due to her fibbing.

at this time of cutting staff it wouldnt be a smart move to anger the bosses at ITV, probably why her husband is working there till xmas

She really hasn't looked very good lately has she. I read an article about her a few weeks back and she suffers very badly with depression so may be having a bad time, money isn't everything.

Well my wife (who knows everything) made two comments.
1) It shoul have been Eamonn and Kate, it being Friday, odd she says.
2) On a "live" phone in, she stated that she would not be returning until after Xmas. NOW, at that time, the producer of the show didn't know that.

My comment now ...moonshadow..."money isn't everything" you must be joking.

I stand corrected Sir, what I should have said is money isn't everything when you haven't got good health, I know which I would rather have.

No problem moonshadow, I knew what you meant all the time, but just felt confrontational at that moment and I had to take it out of someone....unforgiveable of me.

See, I am recovering form the severest form of flu recorded and my wife came into my study and said "just pull yourself together".....so I took it out on you. ......apology accepted?

I too am suffering squad, on day 10 and it's getting worse. Apology accepted, stand at ease.
