Hello.
Has anyone out there ever "split" a Phormium??
I planted one in our small front garden 5 years ago and "her" now says that it's too big!!
I contained it in a 15 inch pot with the bottom cut out so it obviously has a good root system and is very compact yet tall with a lovely spread.
I have a mind to chop it into 4 and re-plant the quarters at my local cricket club.
What do ya think? Will it survive??

Should be ok, provided you've got some of the roots on each quarter.OK to do now provided the ground is'nt frosty or too dry.
