Stain Devils are the best. If you spray a mixture of liquid soap and hydrogen peroxide, it sometimes works, but hp's a bleaching agent, so you'd have to be very careful. Best to use a product that's been specifically designed for the type of stain (red or white wine) and the fabric it's going on to.
