I'm sure this will be easy to answer but I need help....I recently bought an 80gb PS3 and am looking into buying Singstar for it. I have a lot of PS2 singstar games and don't want to discard them! I just searched on google but couldn't find a definitve answer - someone said the 80gb plays 80% of PS2 games - is this right? And are the microphones compatible too?
Thank you

Oh and before someone says 'why don't you just test one!' - they are all packed away and I don't want to dig them out un-necessarily! Plus I don't want to muck the machine up!
Sorry no the new PS3 is not backwards compatible with PS2 games. The original PS3 was but you cannot buy this PS3 anymore except second hand. Sorry to be bearer of bad news.
our 60G PS3 is backwards compatible for some, but not all games
it is possible to play ps2 games on the ps3 but keep in mind that the ps3 has a massive grafic difference to the ps2 so it wont play them all xx

Really?? Is there a list of games available which you can play then? Wonder why people are saying different things?
