Housing problem

My daughter + baby are having difficulty finding a house of their own (they are living with me in overcrowded conditions at the moment). 

Does anyone know of any landlords with property to let in any of the following areas, who would be willing to take Housing Benefit? 

Selston, Pye Bridge, Eastwood in Nottinghamshire

South Normanton, Alfreton, Somercotes, Riddings in Derbyshire, or any of the surrounding areas

P.S. Please don't suggest council cos they are worse than useless!!

 Have you tried a Housing Association?  They were very helpful to my brother.
