Ive been told I need a voltage adaptor for my hairdryer / strighteners etc to work properly in America.

Can anybody please tell me excatly what I need and where I could get one from? Im soooooo not technical.....

firstly they are all the wrong way on that page, they are for using USA equipment in the UK

Secondly they are low current and wouldn't run either hair straighteners or a hair dryer

Have a good look at your straighteners, they may just work with an travel adapter plug, look for the voltage rating printed on them, if it says something like 110v-230v they will work OK (GHD mark 4's will for a start(don't ask how I know that :))

For the hair dryer, buy a cheap one out there is the best option.
