never heard of a jam maker ?
I just use a saucepan ..and a
recipe to make jam ..really easy

Can you use it for other things eg soup or rice pudding? Does it have a low setting to use like a slow cooker/crock pot?

im not sure.....u can do rice puddings and jellies..

i would think you could do chutney....(thats what im planning anyhow)
