Does anyone know how these modern high-tech super-absorbent towels should be washed? The Technology sub-set think I asked in the wrong place!

Apparently the best way to wash new towels is without fabric conditioner and not to tumble dry, this way they stay absorbent.

all my microfibre says the same thing...no conditioner or two in one detergents, 40 deg wash (or lower, no hotter) fast spin, warm tumble dry. We have a wizzy new machine with 1600 spin speed and after that they are only damp and will dry on radiators.
