Does anyone know where I can buy (in the Glasgow, Scotland, area), frozen (or unfrozen) concentrated orange juice)? There used to be a make called "Californian" but haven't been able to get it for a few years now.

I thought all orange juice in a carton
was concentrated ..my american
friend hates it as he always has fresh
orange at home ...but not english bacon !!
I've not heard of concentrated orange juice as the juice you buy in the supermarkets comes from concentrate.
remember the film trading places, they made their killing from FCOJ frozen concentrated orange juice.
the juice arrives at the manufacturers and water is added, thats why juice has on the carton ......from concentrate.

Dave.
My Dad used to buy those little canisters of frozen concentrated orange juice, and convinced us kids it was the height of luxury.

That was in the days when one of the choices of starters in restaurants was a small glass of orange juice.

Time has moved on.

Thank you to "theonlyone", "webbo3" and "Panic Button" for your prompt replies. Panic Button has mentioned what I'm looking for and what I used to use but, unfortunately, I cannot find a source for it. I wonder where the suppliers of cartons of orange juice get their concentrate which they dilute before filling the cartons. By the way, "theonlyone" your American friend's fresh oranges at home are probably much cheaper than they are here.
