Jane had been driving 16 hours straight and she still had 6 hours left to go before she got to her destination. It was nearly 8 am and she was very, very tired. She decided to pull onto a side road and have a rest. She settled in her chair, made sure the car was locked and drifted off to sleep very quickly.

An old man in bright blue jogging suit knocked on her window and nearly scared her to death. "Sorry to disturb you but could you tell me the time" he huffed, jogging in one spot. Jane looked at her watch and said through the glass "It`s 8.15" He thanked her and jogged off. Jane realized that she`d probably parked on a jogging route. With a sigh she settled down once again and fell straight to sleep.

2 male joggers in their 30`s woke her up when they knocked on her window. If she hadn`t been so dead tired she`d have found them cute. "Hi" said the blonde one. "Can you tell us the time" said his brown-haired partner. Jane sighed again and said "it`s 8.19" With a Thanks they jogged off.

Jane looked down the road and could see more joggers. Irritated she got out a pen and scrawled on some paper I DO NOT KNOW THE TIME. She stuck it to her window and settled back and soon drifted off to sleep.

A thin, pale jogger knocked loudly on her window, waking her from a deep, delicious sleep. Jane pointed to the sign "Can`t you READ!" To which the jogger replied, "Of course I can, that`s why I wanted to tell you it`s 8.27 "
