Hi All
I am off to Florida on 17th Nov, and have not brought my US dollar yet but note it keeps dropping against the pound over the last few days, anyone got any views on whether I should wait or is it likely to get worse? I know things are settling down a little over here, but its not 61p to the dollar, which is a big drop, it was 51p when we booked it at turn of the year, but didnt buy the dollars then?
any views, also from anyone out in florida, whats the weathjer like the time we go away? and has there been a lot of price increases?
Thanks

trying to work out which way currencies will move is a mug's game; nobody knows, even George Soros can only guess. But me personally, I'd buy them now, I think sterling is going to fall further.

In theory hurricane season is over by then, but these days it can be a mug's game trying to predict that too. My guess is that it should still be warm.
Have a look at this site - www.wunderground.com
It's a weather site, you type in where you want to check out the weather and it shows you all the information you need and also weather history so, if you want to know what the weather was like on 17 November 1984 for example you can check it out! its a good way of tracking the weather anywhere in the world. I love it!
buy them now, the good rates are over.
At the risk of seeming pedantic: The dollar is rising against the pound and that is the reason for your dilemma - you get less for your pounds (that is what is dropping).
