I seem to be getting more and more mail from charities. Without exageration I get at least a couple each day. Sometimes as many as six. They are becoming more annoying as they try to play with your concience by often potraying photos of people, children and animals in ditressing cicumstances. I regularly give to charities (perhaps that's my mistake) but do not appreciate this constant nagging pressure. Is there any way that I can put stop to it?

It does take a while for it to take effect but I hardly get any junk mail now.

One thing I do know is that charities sell names & addresses of people who donate (another way to get funds) which is why you get lots of mail from other charities.
I seem to get a lot of raffle tickets sent to me by animal charities, I used to buy a few but I seem to be getting more and more just recently, although I feel a bit guilty I now throw them in the bin, I do give to Dogs Trust and Doglost so I suppose the other charities have got my name from them, I would like to give to them all (apart from the RSPCA) but just can't afford to.
Whenever you receive one of these charity e-mails, begging for money, remember this:-

The charitys boss will be on a salary close to 100k, someone has to pay for this.
