Does anyone know where, around the Bury area, you can catch crayfish?

Thanks for any replies.

The sea would be your best bet.

But there are no seas in the Bury area.
Our native freshwater crayfish are usually considered too small to be worth catching (if you can!). The American red clawed, bigger beasties are worth eating, again if you can catch the blighters. Anglers hate `em, `cos they nick your bait without getting hooked. It is estimated that they will have eliminated our indigenous species in the next 30 years due to introducing a disease, & eating the eggs of our ones.
Wel if there is no sea then you can't catch crayfish in the Bury area. It's kind of like asking, "Where can I go mountain climbing in Holland?".
