Loos in drinking establishments.....

In a local club where I go there is a men only bar. The members are shortly going to vote on whether this continues. The problem is that there is no ladies loo in the Bar in question, however there is one on the floor above. Some members seem to think that to allow ladies in without a loo is illegal. Now I have been to many establishments where the loo is not on the same floor as the bar, so I tend to think this is rubbish. Can any learned soul point me at the regs for this or explain the legalities. Thanks

Does it face East?
It's gotta be wishful thinking on their part surely? I have been to many a pub where I have had to climb stairs (up & down) to go for a tinkle. Sorry don't know legally but am interested to find out what responses you get :o)

Is it the ones who want it to stay as men only that are saying this Loosehead?
