For about a week now my right lower eyelid has been twitching/quivering involuntarily -why is it doing this? Could it be I'm a bit stressed at work(but not at home.)

I get this when I'm tired and find it really annoying but it normally goes after a few days. Are you straining to see? Maybe you should go to the opticians and get your eyes tested
black bunny its stress i had exactly the same symptoms and was diagnosed with it!!!
I've had it too - most annoying. When you look in the mirror you can barely see it twitching but from the inside it feels like it's really moving. It does go away eventually though.
I asked my optician about this because I too had a problem with it. She told me that it was stress or tiredness. To put it in her words 'it's your body's way of telling you to slow down!!!'
yep, tiredness.. it will go but boy, its so annoying!
In my case I get it when I lack quality sleep.

Do you work shifts, or burn the candle at both ends?

Make an effort to get enough sleep, and I don't mean lots of naps. Go to bed earlier.
