depends what the 35year old womans expectation is, a 24 year old guy may not be ready for full time commitment, that being said everyone is different.
I agree with Caz there...24 is young, but not so young that he might not know what he's doing. However, you might have higher expectations than him, especially regarding settling down, kids, even simple things like going out....
I was "seeing" a 21 yr old (well, 2 of them now....ahem...) and I'm 31. Tbh, I only take it as it comes (so to speak!!!). I'm not expecting any sort of relationship. You have to be aware of what the other wants before you start getting too involved. But then, if he's mature and wants the same things as you, I really can't see why not!
Hi Angel-Cake....yes totally agree with other two posters. Younger men can be so 'active', full of life, etc - and at the same time your 24yo could be more emotionally mature than most his age. Have fun, communicate lots, and just see how it all pans out. Who is to say that it cant work out, if both of you 'click'. Good luck. :-)
i know its the other way round but i am 25 my (male) partner is 45 and we have been together for 7 years this feb coming.i think its a case of whether u want the same things out of life and are prepared to compromise as age gaps can cause a few small problems but we couldnt be happier

If the two people get on and it's not a issue with them then I say go for it!
I have to answer this from a slightly different perspective. My 25 year old son is currently dating a 41 year old woman and I am not overly happy. There is less of an age difference between me and her than there is between her and him.
However he is an adult and if he is happy with the relationship then I am happy for him. I just have these reservations about it but I am sure that they are more about me and my attitude than about him.
In my opinion the age difference does not matter a jott ,my situation is a little different as I was 35 and the girl was 18 ,we have now been together for 20 years of which we have been married for 10,this is the greatest thing that has ever happened to us both .
The secret is keep young ,have fun ,a sense of humour and enjoy your lives ,Talk about everything ,listen and be interested in each other, find out what each of you like. BUT if it does not work you must get out, listen to you ,not to others around you ,I can only give you my situation ,the last 20 years have been the best ever,I could go on and on with so many stories .
All the best to you
Kind Regards

Thanks for all these answers and glad to see they are all positive!

I met him again this weekend and it went great. I think it's not so bad with me and him as he does look older than his age and I (luckily) often get mistaken for being younger.

He is also much more mature than i was at 24!
