Do you think that there is a particular age at which you can trust yourself to know the difference between lust, an infatuation or love?
And if so, how do you go about deciding what is an infatuation, and what is love (even if it is unrequited)?

i appreciate that all ages can be overwhelmed by the feelings of love and lust, but I just wondered that when, for example, a teenager says they are 'in love' why the older generations always put it down to an infatuation, or anything BUT love?

Does this mean that there is an age at which you are mature enough to distinguish lust from infatuation, and infatuation from love?
thres no age for that .
as you get older it doesnt change

You might have been better posting this in the body and soul section. You would get a better response of a serious answer there.

If it was intended in a 'fun' sort of way, then you were right to post it here.

this post has been moved to body and soul, and I think this is a young person wanting advice about new love.
