Hi all.

Very simple really.. I have been given a very young AV plant.. how do I look after it ..? ( I want it to be big and strong )

I have a terrible habit of killing my house plants, albeit unintentionally..

Thanks in advance xxx

they're tropical plants and store fluid in the fleshy leaves because of their natural arid habitat.

Water them sparingly.....like a good soak once a month & allow to drain (not stand in water).

where is that name from?. it reminds me of Indonesia

To be fair my daughter had knocked the plant over and probably killed it then, but I put it on the windowsill to give it a bit of a chance and walked in the room to discover my cat, Del-Boy, sat in it quite content lol

I took the photo and it was printed in a gardening magazine last year! Won me a 10 gardening gift voucher lol Suppose I should buy another Aloe Vera plant with it really and try again! :o)
