Homemade Ginger Beer

Can anyone please give me the recipe for the above? When I was young I used to make it but now the recipe has gone into the mists of time.

Yeast ..dry ginger...sugar water ..grow the plant ..divide the plant and then add lemons
let it ferment ..strain and bottle ..glass bottles ..
