Which is the closest car parking to manchester airport and also the most reasonable?

No idea about the most reasonable, I usually find leaving the car at home and getting a taxi is the cheapest way, though it does depend on where you live (eg not much use if you live in Swansea!). I live north of Preston and pay �75 return for 4 people for a taxi.

We need to leave at the airport because we are going on a cruise from Southampton and P&O put on Courtesy busy from airport to Southampton then we fly back to Manchester. We have worked out it is cheaper to do that than get down to ship under our own steam and then get home afterwards.

The BCP car park is nearby, and has a frequent shuttlebus service to all the terminals.

Theres also a train station inside the airport, connected by bridge (with moving walkways) to T1 and T2: - there's loads of trains throughout the day (and well into the evening)

Train fares are reasonable, - and if you're struggling to find cheap advance fares online buy an advance to manchester piccadilly and a separate, standard ticket from there to the airport. This is usually a lot cheaper than buying a standard ticket for the whole journey.
