What flavour is it? Is it mint? Or is it something else? What do you think? Thanks!

That's a very good question flirty! It's very hard to describe isn't it? No particular name-able flavour? Perhaps vanilla would be the nearest description, although it isn't really that either.
Apparently it was and still is a secret. www.cadbury.co.uk/About+Cadbury/History+and+Story+of+Cadbury/Cadbury+JS+Fry/Frys+Brands.htm
I've always thought it was mint. Tastes that way to me
It doesn't last long enough with me to determine any kind of flavour flirty - but it's descibed as fondant - fondant what, I haven't a clue. :D

Naw, it isnae mint!! There is NO hint of mint in a fry's chocolate cream. :)
... adding to above - unless it has been sitting in the shop beside the peppermint version, in which case there may indeed be a trace of mint!

What's this brawburd - an actual mint-flavoured Fry's Chocolate Cream, as well as the original version? I'll definitely have to give that one a go. But doesn't that at least tell us that the original version is, indeed, NOT mint? Perhaps, as molly says, it's a secret and we will never know, but we can have plenty of fun trying to find out! (Oooh, I can feel another inch going on the hips now!)
Hmmm I used to work in Sainsbury's up until July 03 and I'm sure we sold it...I must have a look next time i'm in
I think it might be bergamot, the same as in earl grey tea.  I love it whatever it is, intriguing.
