306 will not start

it is a 1997 306 D T has been hit at the front and will now not turn over is there a cut off to stop fuel and and the starter is not even trying

Yes there will be a cut out I think its under the bonnet at right hand side in front of windscreen look for a red circular rubber button about the size of a 10 pence piece

Hit at the front?? How bad? has it knocked the Alignment of the engine out? Wire off the starter/soliniod/Battery?
