If both my boyfriend have changed jobs since taking out of home insurance should we notify them?

My role is predominately similar but his has changed from one sector to another.

Anyone have any sound knowledge on this?

It wont make any difference to your premium, but I would let them know as it usually is just a phone call. It's best to be upfront as in an event of a claim, at least all the information you have given is correct!
