the researcher said this man had the same condition as john merrick who was famiously known as the elephant man, well they are wrong. they said he has Neurofibromatosis (NF1), to clarify this IT is not the same condition as what John had!!

I was born with the same condition NF1, but luckily not as severe as this chinese guy. but then again ive been closely looked at by my consultants/surgeons etc and been having regular checks for 20 + yrs and had many surgeries. (but then again im lucky not to have this condition on my face.) whereas this poor guy couldnt afford to seek medical advice or have surgeries for 20yrs if i remember right.

it is depressing it just gets me down 24/7, its just so hard for normal ppl to understand, ppl like me or anyone who have some kind of unusal condition are always down, sad and depressed, all they say is 'just get on with life and stop moaning attention seekeretc....' no one understands until u know someone or suffer the same condition yourself. x,
