Perhaps Yamato but without knowing the word length and any letters you already have it's a bit difficult.  Does Yamato fit?
Marco Polo named it CHIPANGU. Various spellings eg. ZIPANGU...ZIPAGU..ZIMPANGRI..Google on early european name japan. See 1st entry Washburn Wilcombe E. Japan on early european maps. hope this helps !!!
