usually,but not all of them,check the small print.
Contracts for what?? Some do, some don't. And many everyday contracts have no print at all let alone small print.

Only contracts for goods or services that you sign in your own home!

i.e. where you could have ben pressurised!
as i have just found to my detriment , if a contract is signed on the sellers premises they do not have to give you a cooling off period, as said by sprowston
Distance selling contracts have a 7 day cooling off period too
