Very little these days.

I had stirrings of national pride in Britain and achievement when I watched (and heard!!!!) the Eurofighter Typhoon at the Biggin Hill Air Festival, but then I got to wondering how soon it would be before a huge rumpus was kicked up about none of the pilots being muslim or from an ethnic minority, then I got depressed.

Like it or not, Britain has irreversibly changed. For me, there is very little left to be proud of, and much to rue.

My organisation published a load of politically correct educational material wherein it was pointed out that roundabouts (on roads I suppose) were invented by a black man. I thought it rather curious to put that in print. There must have been better inventions from the minorities.
Its not very often i say i am proud to be British but a few weeks ago i went to my step sons passing out parade as he has recently joined the Navy, watching these men and women marching around in full uniform gave me a sense of pride and seeing my step son marching made me the happiest i had been in a long time!!.... i couldn't of been more proud if he was my own son.
Loved the trying on jumpers with a lit ciggy in mouth bit, been there, done that!
Well done to your stepson rugeleyboy i bet you were very proud
