this is an address for the home office that perhaps they can help

Immigration & Nationality Directorate
Lunar House
40, Wellesley Road
Croydon
CR9 2BY

Telephone: 0870 606 7766

If your friend is 'at risk' from this man she could contact her local police in confidence i am sure.

hope all goes well.

The address above is useful to send a letter to in case an application is made for further leave to remain or for settlement. Quote the correct file number and state the reasons why you are withdrawing support for the application. If no application is made give clear reasons, names etc as to why future applications by the person may be fraudalent.

More importantly call the nearest International airport to where you live. Ask to speak to an immigration officer. This will help ypu to locate which is the nearest enforcement office to where you live. Ask for the address of the immigration intelligence unit in that enforcement area and write a letter to them stating names, dates of births, visa info, arrival info, and all relevant information. It will all be confidential. Never know there may be a knock on the door.

Sorry this has happened to you but it seems to be a common occurence these days.
