msn hotmail problems

On the "attach" dropdown menu on my Hotmail it now only shows "File"
It used to, for years, have "photo" but tonight it doesn't.
I want to send a photo and i can't!!
Anyone out there know how to rectify the fault.

A photo is a file... have you tried it to see what happens?

i always used the file button to attach photos it works fine (in fact i think i couldnt use the photo one cos it said you had to d/l this extra thing)
if your photo isnt a massive file it will work fine.

Yes I thought that might be the case but when i go into "file" I cant get to any pics
The thing seems to have worked out which files are FILES and which files are pics!! Well I can't find 'em!
I know a pic is a file and visa versa but I can't do it
I know it's me and will try on WED am so meanwhile if you have any suggestions.......!

Just had a look at the drop down menu and it does say file and photo but I always click onto file then type in 'my documents' and in your documents you should see 'my pictures' double click on this and it should open up your pictures.Hope this helps.

When you click on File (to attach a file) and you get the pop up for you to select with file, at the bottom, there should be a drop down menu called "Files of type".
Make sure that is set to "All files"....that way it should be looking at all the files in all folders you go into.
